Lucy
Occupational Therapist
Lucy qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999 and is educated to Masters level. She has worked in a range of clinical settings including mental health and community rehabilitation for adults with complex and long-term neurological conditions. Lucy has extensive skills in assessing clients’ holistic needs including equipment and adaptations. Lucy has a special interest, and has undertaken extensive training in vocational rehabilitation. Lucy has appeared on BBC TV and radio discussing innovative practice and integrated working. Lucy is an external examiner and a guest lecturer for Occupational Therapy undergraduates. Lucy is dynamic, innovative and has highly developed report writing skills. She is experienced in delivering Occupational Therapy to a range of clients and a wide base of referrers including insurers, solicitors, charities, housing providers, businesses and private individuals/families.
Amy
Occupational Therapist
Amy qualified as an OT in 2004. Amy has a clinical background in community based Occupational Therapy. Amy provides specialist assessment for provision of equipment and minor and major adaptations. She is also able to provide training and assistance with moving hand handling of people. She has worked with clients with a range of health conditions including complex physical health needs, learning disabilities, trauma and orthopaedics, palliative care and mental health conditions. Amy is approachable and quickly develops rapport with service users. She is highly motivated, enthusiastic and uses flexibility in her clinical approaches. Amy works well to deadlines, is committed to her role and is a conscientious team player.
