Private Individuals

Rehab Jigsaw Occupational Therapists (OTs) are able to provide one-off, or more regular support to private individuals, dependent upon need. OTs help those experiencing reduced function due to health conditions to undertake everyday activities. We provide practical support to help people living with illness (mental and/or physical) to complete everyday activities that are important to them – whether these be related to personal, domestic, leisure, social or vocational skills. It is these daily activities, or occupations, that enable people to live independently, with a sense of purpose and meaning.

Through assessment, the OT gains detailed knowledge of the person, the effects of their condition / illness on their functioning and impact on participation and independence. How would life be different in your day to day life if you couldn’t shower or dress independently, or perhaps undertake an essential component of your work due to a health problem?

Rehab Jigsaw OT’s work with people of all ages and with a wide range of health care difficulties. We are able to provide our services through remote provision (telephone or computer) or face to face. We can provide written summaries or reports with clear, clinical recommendations.

Testimonials

I contacted Lisa on a Friday regarding an urgent OT assessment that was needed for my social housing. Lisa was on the ball immediately, what I like about her service was I felt listened to and respected as a person with physical disabilities. She understood how my disability affects me on a day to day basis. I also felt I was given a lot of scenarios to assist me to think out of the box. Lisa’s report was extremely professional, to the point and easy to read - “jargon free”. I have difficulty in reading however I could understand the whole report. I’m very happy with their service and I most certainly recommend Rehab jigsaw to anyone because their service is extremely professional and they have empathy. Their quality of work is outstanding. Thank you Lisa”
